We’re seeking a Safety Coordinator to support our team by implementing and maintaining safety programs across construction sites, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This is a night shift position.

This role will be based in Wentzville, MO for at least one year. Candidates must be within driving distance or willing to stay in a hotel Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of safety programs at construction sites to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on safety-related matters
  • Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans
  • Assist in developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures
  • Monitor industry trends and changes in regulations and adapt programs and policies as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred
  • Must be willing to work a night shift schedule
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred
  • Experience with traffic control/protection or work zones preferred
  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a safety role, with construction experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of safety principles, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience developing and implementing safety programs
