Other National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) 18 Months required.4 Years Experience in a healthcare or community health environment providing patient education, facilitating health discussions, or presenting health-related information to individuals or groups, required.CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 90 Days required.Driver's License (required)BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support 90 Days required.Here's What You Will DoDeliver structured group education sessions utilizing the approved THR Curriculum focused on chronic disease prevention, postpartum recovery, and healthy lifestyle practices.Guide participants through curriculum content related to nutrition, physical activity, stress management, chronic disease prevention, and long-term wellness.Facilitate discussions that encourage peer support, shared learning, and participant engagement.Maintain fidelity to the Centering curriculum while adapting delivery to meet the needs of diverse community populations.Support postpartum mothers in adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors that reduce long-term risk for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.Support outreach efforts to recruit eligible postpartum mothers and community members into lifestyle education programs.Additional perksBenefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.Strong Unit Based Council (UBC).A supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth.Texas Health requires a resume when an application is submitted.
