Summary:

Supports design review, construction oversight, commissioning, facility turnover, and technical coordination activities for military healthcare construction projects.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Review design documents, RFIs, and construction modifications.
  • Evaluate healthcare facility functionality and constructability.
  • Participate in inspections, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Coordinate technical reviews with stakeholders.
  • Support project closeout and occupancy efforts.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years healthcare facility project experience.
  • Experience supporting design and construction projects.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1/NACI investigation and Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Registered Architect or Professional Engineer.
  • Healthcare commissioning experience.
  • Design-build project experience.
  • Medical facility modernization experience.
  • Prior experience supporting Defense Health Agency (DHA), DHA Facilities Enterprise (DHA-FE), NAVFAC Medical Facilities Program Office (MFPO), USACE Medical MILCON programs, Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare facilities, military hospital replacement programs, healthcare activation/IO&T efforts, SEPS planning, or federal healthcare construction programs.
