About the Role:
CardioClinic in Houston, TX is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Representative to be the welcoming face of our practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated healthcare team where your role directly impacts the patient experience every single day.



Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Manage front desk administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and handling correspondence

Requirements:

• 2+ year of front desk or administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
