The Role You will Play
The Health Consulting Actuary will provide Health and OPEB actuarial consulting services to multiemployer, private, and public sector clients.
This role will reconcile and review valuation results including review of liabilities, sample lives, detailed gains/loss analysis, pricing tools and projection models.
The Health Consulting Actuary is entrusted to produce high-quality results within budget.

With offices from coast to coast, this hybrid role has flexibility to work throughout the U.S.
Occasional travel for client meetings will be required.
Background Profile
4+ years of pension actuarial experience with proficiency in actuarial valuations including accounting reports, liability determination, funding analysis
Expertise with all aspects of Health and OPEB plans; GASB / multiemployer and/or public sector
Working knowledge of Taft Hartley
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex actuarial issues clearly and concisely to a non-technical client audience
Preferred experience in Proval, Access, SQL, and/or JAVA
Bachelor’s Degree and FSA or ASA - with additional exams towards FSA, required
