Summary
This posting is a pool for those interested in teaching HEED courses offered at HCC. These courses cover a variety of content in health education disciplines.

Health Education instructors are designed to teach:

* HEED 101 Health and the World of Risk
* HEED 102 Introduction to Weight Management
* HEED 104 Personal Nutrition Assessment
* HEED 106 Introduction to Stress Management
* HEED 110 Introduction to Personal Wellness
* HEED 112 First Aid and Safety
* HEED 113 Drug Use and Abuse
* HEED 115 Personal and Community Health
* HEED 116 Fundamentals of Spiritual Awareness
* HEED 125 Ethics in Professional Practice
* HEED 128 Exploring Health Care and Health Care Professions
* HEED 130 Human Sexuality
* HEED 150 Women's Health
* HEED 200 Health/Fitness Leader
* HEED 210 Foundations of Health Education and Health Behavior
* HEED 212 Current Health Issues
* HEED 213 Stress Management
* HEED 216 Health Care in the US
* HEED 218 Organizational Management in Health Care
* HEED 220 Crisis Intervention

Adjunct faculty may teach 1-3 courses each semester, depending on schedule and availability. At HCC, adjunct faculty are invited to participate in professional development (including Faculty and Professional Learning Community), and there may be opportunities to engage in certain faculty teams or special projects.

For assigned course, prepare the course materials, prepare and update the learning management system course site (Canvas), attend required faculty/staff meetings, complete required trainings, meet with students as needed, grade/assess student work, deliver quality instruction, and meet other employment related requirements from the division and the college
