Description

A Health Information Management Records Specialist performs various tasks and functions related to medical record documentation including oversight of the online Legal Medical Record. These functions include document-imaging processes, analysis of records, transcription support, release of information, and birth-certificate processing.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: additional vocational training and/or college-level coursework.

1 year previous customer-service experience

Experience with document-imaging systems.

1 year previous Experience in HIM / Medical Records

Experience with word-processing and spreadsheet programs
