Health Information Management, High School Diploma, Medical Records, Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Position Overview: Position is PRN - shifts could include afternoons, evenings, and Saturday rotations. In this role, you will function as a cross-trained backup for all service areas in the HIM Department rotating coverage based on departmental needs. Duties include but are not limited to release of information, preparing birth certificates, scanning of medical records.
Pre-employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education Requirements:
- Validation of high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferably a graduate from an approved Health Information Management Program with credentials of RHIT or RHIA.
