Description

Health Information Technician (Portland, OR) Accident Care Management Corp. Maintain and optimize electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure data integrity, including configuration of data fields, templates, and system parameters, and monitoring system performance; Review, verify, and ensure accuracy and completeness of patient medical records, including clinical documentation, treatment notes, and billing information, using EHR-based data validation tools and standardized system protocols; Compile and analyze patient data to generate reports supporting quality improvement initiatives and operational efficiency; Develop and implement internal procedures for health information governance, documentation standards, and EHR workflows; Evaluate EHR system functionality and recommend workflow improvements to enhance data management and data processing efficiency; Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve documentation discrepancies and improve record accuracy, including providing guidance on system-based documentation standards and workflows.
