Improve the nutritional status of Peoria County residents through nutrition assessment, education and referral for individuals, families, and populations.
Registered Dietitian, or baccalaureate or masters degree in dietetics, nutrition, public health nutrition, or related field. Would also accept registered nurse or baccalaureate or masters degree in home economics (must have a minimum of 20 hours in food and nutrition courses if home economics degree).
Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently, including but not limited to: Windows based operating systems; Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel; Presentation software such as PowerPoint and Canva. Familiarity with collaboration software such as SharePoint preferred. Must have effective oral and written communication skills in individual and group settings. Must have valid Illinois driver's license, proof of auto accident liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation. Must have problem-solving, time management and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
