Position Functions: Provides engaging instruction, administers tests, and evaluates student progress in understanding, and proficiency in assigned field of Career and Technical Training. Major Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide students with industry-recognized instruction and training * Develop and prepare lessons; recommend curricular changes and supplemental materials * Administer and correct tests; log, and maintain progress and attendance * Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs * Manage the classroom by moving about the room to tutor, coach, evaluate, and assist each student as the need arises * Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits * Evaluate and supervise students in an on-the-job training experience * Participate in providing hands-on activities for students in the career preparation programNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
