This is an adjunct faculty pool for teaching part-time in the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) department. If you qualify, please apply and briefly describe your special area of instruction in your cover letter. This pool will remain open until June, 2025 unless positions are no longer needed. Applications will be reviewed and candidates will be contacted and interviewed as positions become available.
Instructor is responsible for the planning and implementation of the assigned HPER course. Instructor is required to create a course syllabus, instruct students in the fundamentals of subject matter in accordance with that syllabus, maintain attendance records, assess student progress and evaluate course work for a letter grade. Instructor will maintain college standards in all aspects of professionalism, record keeping and instruction within the team atmosphere of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) department of Rogue Community College.
Supervision Received
The dean, in consultation with the department chair is responsible for carrying out the evaluation of instructors under procedures developed by the vice president. The dean confers with the department chair in decisions regarding instructor workload, professional growth, retention, and department staffing levels.
