Health Room Assistant | Long-Term Substitute

The Lake Mills Area School District is seeking a long-term substitute Health Room Assistant at Lake Mills Elementary School from approximately February 2027 through the end of the school year.

This role provides an opportunity to support students and help promote their health and well-being. The ideal candidate will have basic first aid and computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with student health needs and provide basic first aid
• Distribute medications to students as prescribed
• Maintain accurate health records
• Help ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students
• Perform other office duties as assigned

The District serves 1,480 students from the City of Lake Mills and the surrounding area in three schools: Lake Mills Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. Lake Mills Area School District is the highest-achieving school district in Jefferson County and has strong academic curricular programs at all levels, as well as excellent music, athletic, drama, and extracurricular programs. We are proud to educate our students in some of the top facilities in the country for environmental construction and design. Our elementary school is LEED Platinum certified and was built as a house concept which allows our staff to foster a sense of community and togetherness throughout the school day.
