You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs across our facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures specific to food productionConduct regular risk assessments and workplace inspectionsManage incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actionsProvide health and safety training and awareness programs to all staffMaintain health and safety documentation and recordsLiaise with regulatory bodies and external auditorsMonitor safety performance metrics and KPIsLead Safety committees and Safety momentsStay current with industry regulations and best practicesQualificationsMinimum 4-7 years' experience in health and safety within food manufacturing/productionDemonstrated knowledge of federal, provincial and local regulations (i.e., OHSA, Workers Compensation)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively across all levels of the organizationStrong organizational and problem‑solving abilitiesProficiency with health and safety management systems and softwareFerrero is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with all applicable human rights laws.
