Title: Health Science Certificate Career Coordinator (Part-Time)

Job Summary

This is a part-time, professional-technical, grant-funded position. (October 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) The career coordinator will provide support to faculty and staff within the college's health care certificate programs by participating in activities related to recruitment. This position will collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to increase interest and enrollment within health science certificate programs. This position reports to the Dean of Healthcare Professions.

Job Duties

• Assist in outreach efforts related to health care certificate programs 
• Develop and maintain working relationships with community partners and work with high school staff to promote program requirements 
• Attend career/college fairs, community events, etc. (Travel will be required within the college's service area) 
• Assist with coordinating event promotion efforts in collaboration with the School of Healthcare Professions Coordinator through social media, digital signage, email communication, newsletters, and printed materials. 
• Assist with creating and distributing promotional content designed to increase awareness and participation in certificate programs. 
• Maintain event calendars, communication schedules, and event-related documentation. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Post-secondary health care credential from an accredited college or university

Preferred Qualifications

• Recruitment experience involving health care programs

• Knowledge and understanding of college organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
• Knowledge and proficiency in computer applications
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills
• Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative and responsibility
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend assignments
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations both on and off campus
