What Does the Training Program Look Like?

This training program will take place at one or our Assisted Living facilities in the Portland Metro Area. This paid position is full-time and will include training on all shifts to learn the day-to-day clinical health services and RN delegations within Community based care. Upon completion of training, you will then by ready to transition into a full-time RN HSD position within Marquis Companies, as opportunities arise.

 

 

As a Health Services Director (RN) - Assisted Living Facility your Nursing and Leaderships skills will be used to ensure that quality care is provided to our residents as you direct the day-to-day functions of the Health Services Department. You will be responsible for the clinical health services coordination and delegation of nursing tasks to non-certified staff that work in the Assisted Living.

 

As the Health Services Director, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:  

• Delegate nursing tasks as allowed under applicable state nursing laws and practice acts, communicating regularly with residents, their families, and their health care practitioners.
• Collaborate with assigned staff and support personnel to plan the shift services, programs, and activities within the facility
• Participates in the implementation of the resident care planning process to comply with resident needs and regulatory agency requirements.
• Perform assessments on the health, functional and psychosocial status of each resident.
• Communicate regularly with residents’ families regarding health care needs.
• Direct the delivery of in-services/staff development programs that contribute to meeting nursing objectives and standards and comply with all state and federal regulations.
• Ensures that the department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to residents by participating in the recruitment and selection of personnel.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role, qualified candidates will have the following:

• Must be a licensed RN for the appropriate State
• Experience as a nursing supervisor is preferred
• Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and/or Home Health Nursing experience is strongly desired
