We are seeking a Health Technician Support Service professional to join our client’s hospital team in Long Beach, CA. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing electrocardiograms (ECGs), ensuring proper lead placement and accurate operation of ECG equipment
  • Recognizing and documenting common rhythm abnormalities during ECG procedures
  • Maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort during all procedures
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care
  • Adhering to hospital protocols and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification through the California Department of Public Health
  • EKG certification
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Health Technician
  • Hands-on experience performing ECGs, including proper lead placement, equipment operation, and rhythm recognition
  • English proficiency
  • U.S. citizenship
