Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Health Unit Coordinator to join our Emergency Services team on a Part-Time basis.
The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for clerical coordination of the unit.  Examples of duties include preparing and maintaining files of medical records, answering phones and triaging phone calls to professional staff, managing supplies and assisting staff in getting their needs met to do their jobs.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Preferred Education: Completion of post High School Vocational/Specialized training
  • Professional Experience: Previous clerical experience is preferred. Also prefer similar or related experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Special Requirements: Requires non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar basis.
  • Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position. Access email, reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.

Work Shift:

  • Part-Time, .7 FTE
  • 28 hours per week
  • Scheduled Days: Variable Days Between Monday and Friday
  • Scheduled Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, and 7:00pm - 11:00pm
