Healthcare Applications Analyst

Currently we are searching for a Healthcare Applications Analyst to fulfill an immediate contract vacancy.




This position is a remote contract opportunity supporting a leading healthcare organization. No work-visa sponsorship available. Applicants must be US Citizens or Green Card holders NOT requiring work-visa sponsorship now, or ever in the future.



Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document technical and business information for a broad portfolio of third-party healthcare applications used across multiple ambulatory care locations.
• Partner with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, and software vendors to collect application details including integrations, user access, ownership, support models, and product documentation.
• Evaluate clinical, operational, and revenue cycle applications while developing and maintaining accurate application inventory documentation.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to understand application functionality, configuration, implementation history, and ongoing support processes.
• Document technical and operational details for enterprise healthcare applications spanning clinical, financial, imaging, patient engagement, scheduling, and other business systems.
• Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to organize application information and support enterprise technology governance initiatives.

Position Requirements:

• 5–6+ years of healthcare IT experience supporting, implementing, and configuring third-party vendor applications.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare application support, software implementation, configuration, and production support within a healthcare environment.
• Experience working directly with software vendors, including vendor management, application analysis, product documentation, and service coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to gather technical application details, document integrations and system information, and maintain accurate application inventories.
• Broad exposure to multiple healthcare application domains such as EMR/EHR, revenue cycle, patient engagement, imaging, scheduling, clinical, and operational systems. Experience supporting a wide variety of vendor applications is preferred over expertise in a single platform.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
