Healthcare Appointment Setter

Pay: $17.00 per hour base to $18.00 per hour base plus bonus

Location: St. George, UT

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

This position does not offer remote work.

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Healthcare Appointment Setter to connect with individuals and help them understand available healthcare services. This is a phone-based appointment-setting role that blends consultative sales, customer service, and compassionate communication. The right candidate will be comfortable making outbound calls, building trust quickly, listening carefully to each person's needs, and guiding them toward scheduling an appointment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful conversations, knows how to keep people engaged, and can balance sales goals with a caring, patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

·Make outbound calls to prospective customers to discuss healthcare services and schedule appointments.

·Use a consultative, empathetic approach to understand each person's needs, concerns, and level of interest.

·Build rapport quickly over the phone and create a comfortable, respectful conversation.

·Clearly explain the value of available healthcare services and encourage qualified individuals to schedule appointments.

·Overcome hesitation or objections with patience, professionalism, and active listening.

·Accurately document call outcomes, appointment details, and customer information.

·Meet or exceed appointment-setting goals while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.

·Follow call guidelines, compliance standards, and company procedures.

Qualifications

·Previous experience in appointment setting, outbound calling, inside sales, telemarketing, call center work, healthcare scheduling, or customer service preferred.

·Strong phone presence with the ability to keep conversations warm, engaging, and focused.
