A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Healthcare Associate Attorney to join its Philadelphia office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing healthcare providers, health systems, payors, insurers, and other healthcare organizations in sophisticated regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters.

Ideal Background

2–4 years of healthcare law experience gained at a sophisticated law firm, healthcare organization, or government agency

• Experience representing healthcare providers, hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, health plans, or insurance companies

• Working knowledge of the federal and state healthcare regulatory framework, including Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the False Claims Act, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and the corporate practice of medicine doctrine

• Experience advising clients on regulatory compliance, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, privacy, and healthcare operational matters

• Experience supporting healthcare transactions, financings, regulatory due diligence, or strategic business initiatives is preferred

• Experience counseling healthcare organizations regarding compliance, risk management, and regulatory changes

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work directly with sophisticated healthcare clients in a collaborative environment

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Pennsylvania bar admission required
