Healthcare Cook / Culinary Specialist - Full-Time Days

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM | 10-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Rotation

What You'll Do

As a Healthcare Cook / Culinary Specialist, you will:

• Prepare and cook nutritious, appealing meals that meet patient dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure food quality, safety, sanitation, and presentation standards are consistently met
• Follow recipes, menus, and dietary guidelines with attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Collaborate with culinary and clinical team members to support patient-centered care
• Assist with inventory management, food storage, and kitchen operations
• Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one (1) year of food preparation and cooking experience
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, senior living, or institutional food service preferred
• Basic computer skills for communication and documentation
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• State minimum automobile insurance coverage
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, and inclement weather conditions
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen
