    We are currently seeking a Deal Modeling & Valuation Analyst in Charlotte, NC to support our healthcare clients across M&A, corporate development, and transaction strategy initiatives.

    The Opportunity – Healthcare Transactions & Corporate Development

    This role will support healthcare executive leadership and corporate development teams in evaluating, structuring, and de-risking strategic transactions. You’ll sit at the intersection of financial modeling, valuation analysis, operational diligence, and executive-level decision support.

    You will contribute across the transaction lifecycle — with an emphasis on early-stage valuation modeling, financial scenario analysis, and integration of third-party diligence findings.

    This is a high-visibility opportunity to help shape investment decisions and long-term value creation for health systems, ambulatory platforms, joint ventures, and healthcare technology acquisitions.

    What You’ll Do

    Financial Modeling & Valuation

    • Build and refine valuation and pro forma models to assess deal viability
    • Conduct scenario, sensitivity, and downside case analyses
    • Support evaluation of financial returns and capital deployment decisions
    • Assist in reviewing and pressure testing seller models and synergy assumptions

    Transaction Support & Diligence

    • Incorporate findings from financial due diligence (e.g., Quality of Earnings, working capital, billing/coding audits) into deal models
    • Support operational and financial risk assessments
    • Contribute to synergy modeling and value creation analysis

    Executive Reporting & Insights

    • Develop clear, executive-ready financial summaries and deal scorecards
    • Translate complex modeling outputs into strategic recommendations
    • Support materials for leadership and board-level discussions

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with client corporate development, finance, legal, and integration teams
    • Help coordinate inputs across workstreams
    • Support transition from diligence into integration planning

    Requirements

    • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience-
    • Background in M&A, investment banking, Big 4 consulting, financial due diligence, or healthcare corporate development
    • Exposure to healthcare provider transactions strongly preferred
    • Experience building financial models and conducting valuation analysis
    • Located in the Charlotte, NC

    Technical Capabilities

    • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
    • Familiarity with valuation methodologies and scenario modeling
    • Understanding of Quality of Earnings, working capital, and balance sheet analysis
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and synthesize key insights

    Professional Profile

    • Structured thinker with strong attention to detail
    • Clear communicator with executive-ready writing skills
    • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deal-oriented environments
    • Collaborative and relationship-driven

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
    • MBA, MHA, CPA, CFA, or FMVA a plus
