About the Role:
  • This is an Associate-level investment banking role within the Healthcare M&A practice, focusing on mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates.
  • The team covers a broad range of healthcare sectors, including providers/services, payers, health information technology, and life sciences/medtech.
  • The practice is highly active, executing 40+ transactions per year with a collaborative, non-regional team structure.
  • Associates work across all seniority levels (Analyst through VP) and are supported by a deep bench of approximately 80 bankers, 30 of whom are analysts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute day-to-day investment banking mandates, including M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory assignments.
  • Support sector coverage activities and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Manage and train junior investment banking professionals (analysts and junior associates).
  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling, and business writing in support of client engagements.
  • Engage with healthcare industry verticals, including providers/services, payers, health IT, and life sciences/medtech.
  • Travel as needed to support client and deal activity.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking, with direct M&A transaction experience required.
  • Prior experience managing and training junior bankers.
  • Strong academic background (Bachelor's degree required).
  • Excellent written communication and financial analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to travel when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Healthcare investment banking experience is strongly preferred.
  • FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses preferred; candidates without them are encouraged to apply.
