Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Healthcare Partner to join our esteemed law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare law, with a focus on providing strategic legal advice to healthcare organizations, hospitals, and healthcare providers. This role requires exceptional leadership, client management skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal counsel on a broad range of healthcare-related matters, including regulatory compliance, reimbursement issues, transactional work, and litigation.
• Advise clients on healthcare policy, regulations, and emerging trends to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Represent clients in negotiations, administrative proceedings, and litigation related to healthcare matters.
• Lead and manage a team of attorneys and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking, client presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the state of New York or Washington, DC.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare law, with a proven track record of handling complex legal matters.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other federal and state healthcare laws.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Proven business development and client relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with hospitals, healthcare systems, and other healthcare providers.
• Recognized expertise in specific areas of healthcare law, such as telehealth, healthcare mergers and acquisitions, or healthcare fraud and abuse.
• Strong connections within the healthcare industry and active participation in relevant professional organizations.
