We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Healthcare Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire qualified healthcare professionals for a variety of clinical and non-clinical positions. The Healthcare Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating hiring activities, and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and healthcare facilities.
The ideal candidate has experience recruiting healthcare professionals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job requisition to candidate onboarding.
Source qualified healthcare professionals through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Recruit for positions such as Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Physicians, Therapists, Pharmacists, Medical Assistants, Allied Health Professionals, and administrative healthcare staff.
Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Verify licenses, certifications, credentials, employment history, and references.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Negotiate compensation packages and extend employment offers.
Track candidate pipelines and recruitment metrics using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Attend job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities to attract healthcare talent.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, company policies, and employment laws.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recruitment priorities.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate documentation.
Support onboarding by coordinating background checks, drug screenings, and required employment documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of healthcare recruitment or staffing experience.
Experience recruiting clinical and allied healthcare professionals.
Knowledge of healthcare terminology, certifications, and licensing requirements.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and professional networks.
Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple job openings simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience recruiting for hospitals, clinics, physician practices, long-term care, home health, or staffing agencies.
Familiarity with credentialing and compliance processes.
Knowledge of healthcare workforce trends and labor market conditions.
Experience with vendor management systems (VMS) and managed service providers (MSP).
Experience recruiting travel nurses or locum tenens professionals.
Professional recruiting certifications such as AIRS, SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar (preferred).
