Job Details
- Own workforce analyses end to end, from the first conversation through scoping, investigation, validation, and final recommendations
- Analyze headcount, turnover, retention, attrition, and employee trends to answer real business questions
- Support workforce planning and forecasting across the health system
- Partner directly with HRBPs, HR, Finance, Technology, and business leaders, including asking the right questions and challenging assumptions when needed
- Build dashboards and reporting in Power BI or Tableau that support decisions, not just display data
- Translate complex findings into a clear story and actionable recommendations for leadership
Requirements:
- 5 plus years of analytics experience, with direct experience analyzing workforce or people data (headcount, turnover, retention, attrition, workforce planning)
- Strong hands-on SQL and Excel
- Hands-on dashboard development in Power BI or Tableau
- HCM reporting experience with Oracle HCM or Workday
- Healthcare or health system experience
- Statistical analysis and data validation skills
- Comfort working in ambiguity and working through complex problems independently
- Ability to explain data clearly to non-technical leaders and influence decisions
Probably not the right fit if:
- Your background is mainly HRIS administration, system implementation, or ETL/data engineering
- Your work has mostly been building dashboards to spec, without owning the analysis or partnering with the business
- You’re currently in a people leader role and haven’t done hands-on analysis in a while
