Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio is recruiting two Healthy Harvest Corps AmeriCorps volunteers for roles advancing "food as medicine" initiatives across North Central Ohio. One position will focus on healthcare partnerships and referral coordination, connecting community members to food access and social service resources through the Unite Us referral network while strengthening relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations. The second position will center on medically supportive grocery box and pantry programs, coordinating food selection, inventory, packaging logistics, mobile pantry operations, and volunteer engagement. Both roles offer hands-on experience in public health, nutrition, community outreach, and program operations while building skills in communication, data tracking, relationship-building, and collaborative problem-solving.
