ACMs provide direct services to youth in all areas of 4-H programming, focusing on in-school educational club meetings, preparing youth for 4-H Project Achievement, attending summer camp, and delivery of community service projects. ACMs collect and track data related to performance measures (in-school educational club meetings, the 4-H Project Achievement process, volunteer recruitment, and volunteer hours contributed), including survey administration and data entry. This includes numbers served (outputs) and the benefit received by the youth participant. Outcomes include youth demonstrating knowledge related to content presented during club meetings, best practices of and confidence in public speaking. ACMs support the volunteer program through recruitment, screening, training, and engagement. ACMs may assist with coordinating the county volunteer registration database. This is a direct service position that requires transport of youth and some night and weekend hours.
