Become a part of our organization’s Division of Cardiology as a Heart Failure Cardiologist, joining the only comprehensive DNV-certified advanced heart failure program in the region.
Program Overview:
- Our program benefits from robust institutional and community backing, emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach.
- Work in close collaboration with a dedicated team of advanced practice providers and specialists in cardiac electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery.
- Engage with a team that possesses extensive knowledge in cardiomyopathies, including hypertrophic and infiltrative disorders.
- Deliver pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients, partnering with regional academic cardiac surgical centers in the Northeast.
- Contribute to a well-established and expanding program focused on delivering innovative, patient-centered care to individuals with heart failure.
Qualifications:
- Possession of an MD/DO or equivalent degree, with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
- A clinically focused background with adequate research experience and teaching capabilities to qualify for an academic appointment.
- Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
- Leadership skills and qualities are highly regarded.
- Excellent communication abilities, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional care to heart failure patients and advancing the field of cardiology.
- Capability to teach, mentor, and work alongside medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
- Eligibility for an academic appointment and medical licensure in New York State.
We offer a competitive salary range with the potential for an incentive bonus, between $350,000 and $400,000.
