Description

Electrophysiology (EP) Advanced Practice Clinician

We''re seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiology team. In this role, you''ll provide care for patients before and after EP procedures, including cardiac ablations, pacemaker and ICD implants, electrophysiology studies, and cardioversions. Working alongside electrophysiologists, nurses, and anesthesia providers, you''ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while developing specialized expertise in cardiac electrophysiology.

Role: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Location: Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute

Setting: Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiology, Pre/Post Procedure Care

Schedule: Part-time, (24 hours)

Call Schedule: No call

Weekend Requirement: Rotating Saturday coverage

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Connecticut licensure (or eligibility)
• National board certification
• BLS required; ACLS required or obtained within established timeframe

Preferred Experience

Cardiology, electrophysiology, critical care, emergency medicine, PACU, or other procedural-based experience is preferred. New graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
