Westaff is Hiring for Heat Treat Operators and Leads in Enfield, CT!

 

Day Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM - 6:30PM 

Night Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30PM - 5:00AM 

*Flexible with shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed*

 

Pay Rate: $18 - $22 an hour, Depending on Experience 

 

Heat Treat Responsibilities:

• Load, feed, and organize parts per Process Control Sheet
• Maintain proper part identification and product flow
• Perform sampling and inspections to verify specs
• Complete all paperwork and quality documentation
• Oversee shift operations, assign tasks, and ensure safety/QMS compliance (Lead roles)
• Monitor performance and maintain a professional work environment
• Communicate daily with Operations Manager on schedules and issues
• Inspect completed work and report equipment concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area
• Perform Parts Processing Operator duties as needed

Heat Treat Requirements:

• Experience in heat treating, furnace operation, or metal processing
• Ability to work safely around hot metal and heavy machinery
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
• Reliable attendance and ability to work required shifts
• Ability to lift and handle metal parts
