Finishing Crew Member III

Wage Range: $21.75 to $22.25 after probationary period ends and $25.75 after UTC training completed (as openings are available).

Day shift: 7am to 7pm / 3 on, 2 off, 2 on 3 off

Night shift: 7pm to 7am / 3 on, 2 off, 2 on 3 off

12-hour shifts

Prior steel mill or industrial furnace experience

Tow motor and crane experience

Must have reliable transportation

Duties

• Reviews traveler and other paperwork for Heat Treat requirements
• Consults Heat Treat Profile Management System to identify orders that may be heat treated together.
• Builds loads as required to maximize furnace fill.
• Operates rotary furnace controls to load/unload furnace as needed.
• Moves materials via tow motor or remove overhead crane.

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekends
• Day shift or night shift

Education:

• High school Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Remote Crane: 1 year (Required)
• Forklift: 1 year (Required)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift or Day Shift (Required)
