Our client is a trusted precision manufacturer serving aerospace, transportation, and power transmission. They craft high-accuracy metal parts and gearing systems for OEM and industrial customers. They’re expanding their 2nd shift and looking for a Heat Treatment Furnace Operator who enjoys hands-on, detail-focused work.
What you’ll handle
Set up, load, and operate heat-treat furnaces, quench presses, and washers to process steel parts.
Track temperatures, soak times, and complete cycles exactly to process requirements.
Perform hardness checks and basic quality inspections to confirm results meet expectations.
Use hoists or lift equipment to move baskets, trays, and components safely.
Log production counts and process data with accuracy.
Follow established safety practices and keep your area clean and organized.
Bring these strengths
At least 1 year in heat treat or furnace operation preferred—mechanically inclined candidates will be trained.
Comfort reading work instructions and using gauges and micrometers.
Mechanical aptitude, reliability, and consistent follow-through.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work effectively in a hot manufacturing setting.
Collaborative, safety-first approach with keen attention to detail.
