Our client is a trusted precision manufacturer serving aerospace, transportation, and power transmission. They craft high-accuracy metal parts and gearing systems for OEM and industrial customers. They’re expanding their 2nd shift and looking for a Heat Treatment Furnace Operator who enjoys hands-on, detail-focused work.

What you’ll handle

• Set up, load, and operate heat-treat furnaces, quench presses, and washers to process steel parts.
• Track temperatures, soak times, and complete cycles exactly to process requirements.
• Perform hardness checks and basic quality inspections to confirm results meet expectations.
• Use hoists or lift equipment to move baskets, trays, and components safely.
• Log production counts and process data with accuracy.
• Follow established safety practices and keep your area clean and organized.

Bring these strengths

• At least 1 year in heat treat or furnace operation preferred—mechanically inclined candidates will be trained.
• Comfort reading work instructions and using gauges and micrometers.
• Mechanical aptitude, reliability, and consistent follow-through.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work effectively in a hot manufacturing setting.
• Collaborative, safety-first approach with keen attention to detail.
