Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Technology (HART) Program Coordinator :
Role:
Grayson College is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Technology (HART) Program Coordinator to lead, manage, and support the HART training program. The HART Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, compliance, instructional quality, and day-to-day operations of the program. This role ensures that students receive high-quality instruction aligned with state and federal regulations while supporting instructors, maintaining instructional equipment, and fostering strong industry standards and partnerships. Teaching assignments will vary from semester to semester and could include day, evening, occasional weekends, and high school dual credit. Teaching locations could include both campuses, local high schools, and other locations as assigned.
This is a 9‑month, full‑time faculty position.
This position reports to Grayson College's Director of Industrial Technologies and the Dean of Academic and Workforce Instruction.

Qualifications:
Valid Texas HVAC or Refrigeration licensure, or the ability to obtain required licensure within 1 year.
EPA Section 608 Certification
Minimum of three (3) years of recent, verifiable professional experience in the heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry, or meet TDLR minimum requirements for instructional eligibility or an Associates of Applied Science degree in related fields.
Demonstrated knowledge of HART industry standards, safety regulations, and applicable state and federal requirements
Ability to effectively communicate, teach, coach, and evaluate students and instructional staff
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation required for program compliance and accreditation
Ability to pass and maintain:
Criminal background check (reviewed on a case-by-case basis; second-chance friendly)
