    Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Hollywood, FL. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including diagnosing issues, performing troubleshooting, and completing preventive maintenance tasks. The technician will inspect equipment, test system performance, handle basic plumbing and electrical connections related to HVAC units, and ensure compliance with EPA and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include responding to service calls, advising customers on system use and care, documenting work performed, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

    Qualifications

    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems and related components.

    • Experience with heating and cooling systems.
    • \n
    • Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures for residential and commercial HVAC equipment.

    • Understanding of electricity as it applies to HVAC systems, including wiring and controls.
    • \n
    • EPA certification or eligibility to obtain certification for handling refrigerants.
    • \n
    • Prior experience as an HVAC technician or in a closely related field.
    • \n
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
    • \n
    • Physical ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in varying weather conditions.

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
    • \n
    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in HVAC is preferred.

    • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
