ABOUTThe AIS Infrastructure Group consists of four heavy civil construction companies. Our services include infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, and site development for government and state agencies and private enterprise across the United States. We do a wide variety of heavy civil projects, including highways, bridges, and DOT work, power plants, dams and reservoirs, underground utilities, and more. GENERAL POSITION SUMMARYThe Concrete Finisher is responsible for ensuring the proper placement, leveling, finishing, and curing of concrete for large structures. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while adhering to company safety standards and protocols. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlace, level, and finish concrete surfaces.Operate finishing tools including screeds, floats, and trowels.Ensure proper curing and surface finish standards.Work closely with the foreman and carpenters during placement operations. QUALIFICATIONSAt least 5 years of experience in heavy civil, roadway, or structural concrete construction.At least 3 years of experience with concrete finishing.Experience working on DOT or infrastructure projects is a plus.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to follow safety procedures and jobsite instructions.Ability to read, interpret, and execute plans, specifications, and layout with direction from Foremen and Superintendents.Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites.
