Typical Responsibilities Depending on Role
• Perform grade checking and layout in accordance with plans and specifications • Supervise and coordinate grading crews to meet production quality and schedule goals • Safely operate heavy equipment on large-scale civil projects • Read and interpret civil drawings, profiles, and mass grading plans • Work closely with surveyors, superintendents, and project managers • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in heavy civil grading, roadway, or infrastructure projects • Proficiency with grade stakes, laser levels, and/or GPS machine control systems • Strong understanding of cutfill slopes and tolerances • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship • Valid drivers license if applicable
