Job Title: Heavy Civil Estimator
We are currently seeking a dedicated Heavy Civil Estimator to join our team in Raleigh with pay starting at 120K. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating heavy civil construction projects with expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and project analysis. This individual will play a key role in helping our company secure profitable projects and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data for estimates.
- Review and analyze historical data to develop cost models and benchmarks for future projects.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Present estimates to management and participate in bid reviews and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator in heavy civil construction projects.
- Proficient in estimating software and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
