Your mission
- Own field execution: lead and direct field crews and supervisors to deliver safely and productively.
- Set the safety tone: enforce standards and issue weekly safety reports.
- Enable flawless starts: ensure forepersons have the tools, materials, and information for first‑time quality.
- Steer partners: monitor subcontractor progress and protect budget and schedule.
- Build by the book: interpret specifications, drawings, and survey data to plan work.
- Make data count: track productivity and job costs; review cost reports and correct course.
- Elevate quality: implement QA/QC, verify testing, and close punch‑lists.
- Control the paper trail: manage submittals, material tracking, and required documentation.
- Adapt fast: respond to unforeseen site conditions with practical, safe solutions.
- Right‑size manpower and coordinate with owners, designers, and inspectors.
What it takes
- 5+ years of heavy civil construction with superintendent‑level accountability.
- Mastery of OSHA requirements, industry best practices, equipment, and QA/QC methodologies.
- Proven skill managing fast‑paced, changing schedules and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Confident team leadership and field coordination.
- Local travel: Southeastern PA & NJ.
- OSHA 10‑Hour or 30‑Hour certification required.
