A Week in the Role

• Kick off planning sessions with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to lock in milestones and budgets.
• Walk the jobsite to verify workmanship, materials, and adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
• Track progress, analyze risks, and rebalance crews, sequencing, or procurement to stay on target.
• Prepare and maintain contracts, change orders, and reporting so documentation is audit-ready and current.
• Host stakeholder updates—clear, timely communications that resolve concerns before they become issues.
• Strengthen relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to keep collaboration smooth.
• Introduce and champion best practices that elevate project delivery and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Own

• End-to-end management of civil construction projects with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Coordination with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to establish timelines and budgets.
• Ongoing progress monitoring with proactive adjustments to ensure successful completion.
• Routine site inspections to confirm quality and conformance with project specifications.
• Stakeholder communication that delivers updates and addresses concerns promptly.
• Creation and control of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
• Relationship building with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Implementation of project management best practices and contribution to continuous improvement efforts.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of civil construction project management experience.
• Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and applicable regulations.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional certification (PMP, CCM, etc.) is a plus.
