Major Talent is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a leading heavy civil construction company in South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex construction projects from planning through completion while working alongside an experienced operations team.If you're a leader who thrives in the field, enjoys building strong teams, and has a passion for delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget, we'd like to speak with you.What You'll DoManage heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Lead project teams including Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and field personnel.Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues that impact schedule, quality, or cost.Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality, and production goals are achieved.Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.Prepare project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, invoices, and weekly project reports.Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost control.Maintain compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and company safety standards.Build strong client relationships while delivering exceptional project results.QualificationsExperience managing heavy civil construction projects.Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.Experience leading multiple project teams and subcontractors.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Strong communication and leadership skills.Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and construction management software.Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.Experience working with DOT, mining, site development, grading, utilities, or earthwork projects is highly preferred.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.PMP, PE, EIT, OSHA, or MSHA certifications are a plus.Experience successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.Why This Opportunity?Career growth with a respected industry leaderOpportunity to manage challenging, high-impact heavy civil projectsCollaborative team environment focused on safety and operational excellenceVeterans Encouraged to ApplyMilitary experience often translates exceptionally well into project management.
