Heavy Civil Superintendent – FAA Underground Utilities & Airfield Infrastructure West Point Contractors has an immediate opening for an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on an FAA underground utilities and airfield infrastructure project in Palmdale, California.This is not a vertical construction position. We are seeking a Superintendent with documented experience managing underground wet utility installation, demolition, sitework, aggregate base placement, and asphalt paving operations on federal or heavy civil projects.Experience supporting FAA, USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, or other federal agencies is highly preferred. This includes, but is not limited to: Department of Defense (Air Force, Navy, Army), Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Veteran Affairs, United States Army Corp. of Engineers, Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Federal Bureau of Prisons. These clearances include entry level background checks can also include, fingerprinting, proof of citizenship, declaration for federal employment, tuberculosis testing, and credit checks. It is the responsibility of the employee to maintain the ability to obtain installation access, it is a condition of the position.
