Heavy Construction Equipment Road Service Technician

Best Line Equipment is currently seeking an experienced heavy equipment Road Service Technician to join the team at our State College, PA facility. Our Road Service Technicians provide mobile service to West Chester and surrounding counties and are supplied cell phones, laptops, vehicles, fuel, and other items necessary to successfully perform independently off location.

Job Overview:

• Troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain all types of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
• Road technicians travel to job sites and customer locations to perform duties.
• Some on-call responsibilities may apply.
• Full-time position. 40-50 hours per week and 1 Saturday a month.
• Best Line has paid on-line and factory training benefits.

Requirements:

• At least two years'' experience in comparable markets. (Troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing automotive, truck, construction, industrial, or agricultural equipment.)
• Must possess strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and have strong electrical, mechanical abilities.
• Beneficial experience would include DC electrical, hydraulic, combustion, and associated skill sets.
• Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.
• A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience will qualify.
• Starting pay rate dependent on experience and certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Estimated annual compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 per year (dependent upon experience)
