Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel, hydraulic, and construction equipment to support active field operations and equipment reliability.
The ideal candidate will have strong diesel and hydraulic repair experience, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work efficiently on a wide range of construction and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair diesel and hydraulic equipment efficiently.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and equipment performance issues.
Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment.
Service and repair equipment such as vibratory hammers, diesel impact hammers, lattice boom crawler cranes, and RT cranes.
Maintain and repair earthwork equipment including excavators, bulldozers, front-end loaders, skid steers, rollers, and related machinery.
Support repairs on generators, air compressors, light plants, and other small-engine equipment.
Inspect equipment to identify needed repairs, safety concerns, or maintenance issues.
Complete repairs in a timely manner to reduce downtime and support jobsite operations.
Follow safety procedures and use tools, materials, and equipment properly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience as a diesel mechanic or construction equipment mechanic required.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience repairing diesel and hydraulic equipment.
Knowledge of heavy construction equipment maintenance and repair.
Ability to work on multiple types of equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or as part of a team.
