Heavy Diesel Fleet Mechanic | Excavation

Interlaken, Inc., a site and utility excavation company, is seeking a motivated Maintenance Mechanic with construction experience.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Must be able to independently perform basic service repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of units including excavators, loaders, attachments, compaction machines, fleet vehicles, dump trucks, and small tools such as jumping jacks, chop saws and generators in field and at our shop.Ability to diagnose, repair and troubleshoot fleet with knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel & brake lines. Responsible for shop inventory of tools and equipmentMaintain a clean and orderly work area.Complete accurate, legible reports required in conjunction with work assignments and account for all time and material used in performing assigned duties. Basic computer skills a plus.
