Job Description
Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to lead a team of Technicians in repairing and maintaining Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.
Total compensation is based on experience and ranges from $70k/yr-$90k/yr.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs on all parts of Class 8 trucks and trailers
- Engine rebuilds
- Troubleshoot and repair the electrical systems, aftertreatment systems, and hydraulic systems
- Rebuild Cummins engines
- Lead and train technicians
- Welding and fabrication as needed.
- Make recommendations for process system improvements.
Qualifications
- Must be in a lead tech role or similar leadership role for 5 plus years.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with general knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements.
- Must have strong welding and fabrication skills.
- Must be highly self-motivated and a team player
- Class A CDL license a plus.
