Diesel Mechanic – Mobile Service Truck (Heavy Duty / Semi Trucks)
KJE Services is hiring an experienced diesel mechanic to operate our mobile service truck servicing:
- Semi trucks
- RGN Trailers
- Landoll Trailers
- Customer equipment
- Field breakdowns
- Preventative maintenance
This is not a “parts changer” position. We’re looking for someone who can diagnose problems, work independently, and represent the company professionally in the field.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair Class 8 trucks and trailers
- PM services and inspections
- Brake, suspension, electrical, air system, and hydraulic repairs
- DOT repairs
- Roadside service calls
- Troubleshoot drivability and engine issues
- Maintain service records and communicate repair status
- Operate mobile mechanic truck safely and professionally
- Update Maintenance Tracking Software
- Source Parts
Preferred Experience- Heavy duty diesel mechanic experience
- Cummins / Paccar / Detroit / Mack experience preferred
- Electrical diagnostics
- Air brake systems
- Trailer repair
- Hydraulic systems
- CDL preferred but not required
- Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
