Role impact
Drive local maintenance plans that keep equipment dependable during peak demand.
Execute complex mechanical work using proven procedures and standards.
Interpret manuals, parts catalogs, schematics, and blueprints to solve problems accurately.
Pinpoint and repair electrical and hydraulic issues within target timelines.
Document all work and complete scheduled/unscheduled inspections using our maintenance management platform.

GRV (Glycol Recovery Vehicle) trucks
Wastewater trucks
Light-duty support vehicles
Ground service equipment (GSE)
Compensation, schedule, and structure
Status: Full-time
Starting pay: $28.00 per hour
May–Sept: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 0500–1530
Oct–Apr: Rotating shifts and days off aligned to operational requirements
What you need to succeed
High school diploma or equivalent; must be 18 or older.
Eligible to obtain an airport badge under federal requirements.
Clear hearing and speech; able to read, write, and follow English instructions.
Basic–intermediate computer proficiency.
Bring your own tools: sockets/wrenches up to 1" and up to 1/2" drive, with toolbox.
Plan work effectively; balance competing priorities and deadlines.
Knowledge of fluids; diesel equipment; tools; repair and maintenance practices.
Maintain confidentiality; collaborate with tact across all levels and with client representatives.
Comfort using standard/specialized tools and diagnostic instruments (photo tachometer, diagnostic tools/hardware, scanners, meters).
Valid driver’s license.
Willing to travel TDY to other IDS airport stations when called upon.
Where and how you’ll work
Hands‑on, physically intensive environment with extended standing; occasional excessive noise; safe yet sometimes unpleasant odors; variable temperatures/humidity; activity around heavy moving equipment.

Frequent hand/tool use and reaching; effective speaking and hearing.
Extended sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
