Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a fleet of heavy-duty trucks, equipment, and diesel-powered vehicles. This role requires extensive knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance procedures.Responsibilities:Repair heavy duty machinery and equipmentSpecialize in dieselPerform routine maintenanceUse diagnostic tools to test componentsPerform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customerWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a formal Diesel Technology program or relevant vocational/technical certification is highly preferred.Education:High SchoolExperience:2+ yearsQualifications:Previous experience as a diesel mechanic in the heavy duty industryUnderstanding of hydraulicsKnowledge of shop equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsDeadline and detail-oriented
